Events/Opportunities Descriptions:
Piano Recitals: Generally offered as: Fall Mini Recitals (September), Christmas and Holiday Recital (December), and Honors Recital (March). Family and friends are invited to attend all recitals and receptions.
Other Performances: Most months will have the opportunity for a community performance.
Opportunities to perform at either your church or mine.
Performance Classes: Classes that are held at the studio and are intended for students only. Students perform pieces for each other and depending on the age level also participate in an assortment of activities. Older students will work together on music theory concepts, discuss repertoire, and more. Younger students work together on beginning theory concepts through games, singing, and play.
Piano Composition Contest: In January and February students work on creating their own piano compositions. Compositions are submitted to the Piano Explorer Magazine. Our studio also has an in-house contest and the Truman State University Compositions Majors serve as adjudicators. Winners are announced at the Spring Recital.

Fall enrollment: Please give a minimum of three choices for lessons. Please put conflict dates in comments box.
Fall 2026 Hours of Availability:
Mondays: 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Tuesdays: 1:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Thursdays: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Priority enrollment will be given to students who have filled out the enrollment form and paid tuition.
